TechConnect Ventures' Challenge Sprints are non-exclusive open innovation competitions, which seek to identify technologies, research, concepts, business models and other solution sets with the potential to impact or disrupt many of the most important strategic problems facing industry today (Link to Sprint Page). Each Sprint focuses on a Strategic Topic Area which has both a range of potential solutions and a range of potential industry impacts.
Our primary mission for Sprints is to maximize your exposure to new technologies and innovation opportunities, while lowering many of the barriers to accessing them. TechConnect Ventures fully designs and executes each Challenge independently. We even issue our own Awards. This Sprint concept provides our client companies with access to one-of-a-kind open innovation Challenge results, but without the demand for significant investments of time and resources in doing so. Plus, our "self-sponsored" model allows us rapidly execute higher volumes of Challenges over a much larger and more diverse range of topic areas than most organizations could ever manage on their own.
Every Sprint is non-confidential, non-exclusive and non-competitive for our Clients. What this means is that:

TechConnect Ventures fully designs and executes each Challenge independently. You will not find a Sprint "sponsored by" another organization. This enables us to engage a broader set of interested potential commercial partners on your behalf. Moreover, we provide all of our own Awards (see "What's In It For Me? Below") to ensure that our process remains unbiased by an one-specific set of interests. By fully owning each element of the process, we are able to minimize the risk for all participants, while also maximizing everyone's overall exposure to new commercial opportunities.
As an Innovation Solver, you are invited to submit your proposal, pitch and/or innovation description as a response to any Challenge Sprint you choose. This Submission ("Entry") represents your unique response to the strategic innovation need ("Topic") define in the Sprint Challenge Statement.
The Sprint model employs a closed Submission process. TechConnect Ventures does not offer tools to enable crowd ideation or iteration of Entries prior to submission. You are welcome to collaborate with multiple partners and organizations to develop your Entry, but the final Entry should be submitted by a single point of contact. Once Submitted, all Entries are final.
